bzzzzzz
i have spent almost the entire day (9am-9pm) in front of my hateful computer retouching pictures for reebok.
being a micro-managing, control freak isn't all it's cracked up to be.
i used to enjoy hand printing all my (colour) photos, often through the night.
now i've taken over 98% of my retouching (as my skills and the expectations of us increase) i'm afflicted with mundane, uncreative nonsense.
thankfully frances (poor girl) gets to do most of the extra boring retouching: dust and scratches and colour corrections etc...
but she's away at her boyfriend's (time off for good behaviour after her modelling debut yesterday) so i've been left with a HUGE load of dull to do before monday am.
although i don't feel like i've been busy photographically, it seems there's 6 clients all chasing me for pictures.
hmm.
must have taken my eye off the ball for a moment.
mouse has returned:
i stuck him out last night as he's been hiding in our bedroom for the last 3 weeks and i thought it was time...
i didn't realise stratford and taz were outside though...
taz was fine (apparently he's scared of cats) but because stratford is a dumb animal and because he hasn't seen mouse for over 3 weeks, he'd obviously forgotten that mouse is higher up the food chain and/or higher up the chain of command and he 'went for him'.
after beating stratford into an apology, mouse then disappeared for 24hrs.
i was just starting to worry when he came knocking at the back door.
phew.
i only ever appreciate mouse until there's a chance he's not coming back.
i did take a 20 minute break this afternoon when we all jumped nakedly into our pool, happy to know we didn't have house-guests or that there could be any danger of people seeing us in our very private, secluded pool area/back (half-walled) garden.
maximum wouldn't get in: he just lay on an inflatable and z cried constantly in mrs.perou's arms.
but at least I love our pool.
i'm not planning on being a naturist anytime soon, but this whole 'being naked in the back garden' thing's really working for me: it's a natural reaction to the technology: let's all get naked and live in trees...
