Finished retouching at 4.30am this morning when I couldn’t focus on the screen and I was feeling sick with a stomach ache from all the red-bull.

Woke up at 8am and carried on retouching: desperately trying to get this story ready for no-name magazine.

Because we were trying to cut costs and time on set building, we payed the price in post.

Delirious.
I can’t work on 3.5hrs sleep.

Fred the chimney sweep came by and opened up 3 fireplaces that were previously boarded up: the bedroom, the breakfast room and our bedroom.
Fred found 7 (dead) birds up the chimneys or behind the boards.

After he’d left, I found a live one sitting on the kids bookcase in the breakfast room.
it seemed to be ‘tame’ and had a band around it’s ankle.
reckon it must has flown down the chimney and kept going…santa style.
thought about pigeon pie but it didn’t seem sporting, it being so close (and friendly) so I picked him up and let him loose outside.

Had a swim and drove to town via herne bay.
had to withdraw a reasonably large sum of cash out of the bank (to pay a builder) and had a frustrating time with cashiers who clearly didn’t believe I was me, despite having my passport with me.

Subsequently, on a shopping spree round town (pre MMASM) 5 out of 6 shops I brought stuff in referred my card on (not very) ‘random’ security checks.
grrrr…

After the shopping, drove over to portabello rd for a few drinks and tapas with neil, jolly and david for neil’s birthday.
met by georgina.
ended up at the electric and home.

Torrential rain: the whole of London lit up with day for night lightning…
