the artic monkeys in sheffield
i didn't realise till just now...surely 'monkeys' should be 'monkies'?
took the midland mainline to sheffield from kings x st.pancras after some trouble locating the station carpark and navigating concrete nonsense.
sheffield daylight was a whole two stops darker than london: f4@60th: grim...dark...and cold.
shot daylight inside at f4@ 1/4sec on an uncharacterstically placed tripod.
getting technical aren't i?
the 'artic monkeys' have a reputation for not being easy to photograph.
that's a myth.
they were very easy going.
had a VERY short shoot...which is annoying after such a long commute there and back.
and ended photographing them rehearsing a few songs, which was good to hear.
watched 'spellbound' on the way back to london drinking a can of strongbow.
i like train travel and the fact someone else is (hopefully) driving.
