i found a hook up: here's frances ignoring the amazing scenery on route to st.moritz
another sleepless night with an ill maximum.
Another early start.
Another full day of travelling.
Flew heathrow to zurich.
Then 3 trains to st.moritz, the last of which was old, sweet and wound up little mountain tracks with sheer snow covered cliffs above and below.
It's BEAUTIFUL here.
The last time i was in switzerland it was summer and there wasn't any snow and LAbarryJ had a nervous breakdown and almost killed us in his car, doing an emergency stop on a motorway to 'teach that guy a lesson' (stupid style).
Checked into the strange, strongly perfumed rooms without internet hook up (how 3rd world?) and realised i LOST MY PHONE /PDA/ link to everything: aaaaaaarrrrGGGGGGHHHHH!
Thankfully swiss people are VERY trustworthy.
I had left it on the train and the cleaners had found it and weren't currently calling australian relatives but kept it safe for my panic ridden hasty return.
Ate at the hotel: it was great: typical old school ski resort restaurant full of interesting old folk smoking pipes.
Had an unusual vegtable that was a cross between a cauliflower and brocolli: weird but tasty.
And a bottle of prosecco.
People here speak italian or german first but also french and english (all of the locals) and they also have their own language which combines all the above with spanish too.
Tomorrow we shoot...or do we?
There are 'issues' tbc. like the job's off but on....or is it?
