long short haul

long short haul

12hrs: hotel door in st.moritz to perou factory door in london.
too long for such a short distance.
1 taxi
3 trains
1 plane
1 bus
1 slow slog through london in the perou-mobile (with a stop at the lab on route home)

as we were flying business, we got to use the swiss air lounge.
i am coming to the conclusion that i don't like being in close proximity to your stereotypical, suited business arse: arrogant, loud and blatantly looking at me and frances with disgust.
i enjoy upsetting them by my mere existance: they're easy to wind up.

just remembered how i upset a fellow (posh, snob) brit at the board and boot hire shop yesterday.
the guy serving us said, 'and how is the weather in london just now?'
i instinctively replied, 'shit...as usual'
the guy laughed getting my drift but the fur wearing snob behind me gasped loudly, putting her hand to her mouth with the horror of the english yob in front of her.
i winked at her on the way out.
too easy.

the highlight of the day today was probably the drag queen stewardess on the plane telling me that as i was sitting in a bulkhead seat i would have to open the emergency door in an emergency...unless the wing and/or engine were on fire in which case i should leave the door shut and use an alternative exit.
