is it me...or do all photographers hate having to sort out their portfolios?

there are 6763 images on this site now.
how do i easily cut that down to 40 pages?

i'm even having trouble cuuting it down to 360(ish) pages for THE book we're working on.

and where is simon willis...come in?

so, i get up early and drop the R32 into volkswagen.
on route there, it lets me know it's running low on oil.

i mention it to the girl on reception and she says, 'well, have you put any oil in since you've had the car?'
'ur, no' i say feeling a bit blonde.
'well' she says 'these cars use aprox a litre of oil every 600 miles'.
'ur...' i go, doing the maths... 'i've done over 8000 miles since i've had it...i guess that means i'm short of 13.333333333333333 ltrs...can you top it up and check i've not blown something?'.

mrs.perou comes to pick me up with the children on route t' school.
and i decide to run against the traffic jam to catch her up and remind myself that i'm extremely unfit.
i HATE the idea of having to exercise: seems so inconvenient: i don't have time to work out....yuuuuuuuck.

it's very, very windy.
i can't remember if i've previously posted a shot of the 'wheel of fortune' that's been in our back field like a pink floyd art installation since we shot it with a middle aged man tied naked to it.
(i know the story hasn't run yet so i haven't posted it up even though i LOVE it SO much).
but it's finally blown off anyway.
pictured is what's left.

'ordered' another peacock to replace him that's rotting by the wall near the swimming pool.
somehow will have to lock him in a shed with the peahen for 6 weeks till he breaks down and learns to love her.
poor sod: what if she's a peahen minger?
maybe the the peacock before him did himself in because he just couldn't take all the (pea)hen pecking that he was getting.

i have the cover of timeout london this week.
unfortunately they hit me with a retrospective contract that would mean i sign over all my copyright to them forever...so, i doubt i'll be shooting for them again.
end of a 9 year relationship.
seems to be the way things are going...
sad.
i don't give up my legal right to own my copyright.
i never will.
unless someone wants to pay me mucho $$$...then they're welcome to it.
