every day i have to do smiles

this is a truck...that can throw it's wheels to the other side of a gap...and it has a bit on it that can move snow out of the way.
i wish i still had a childlike ability to see the world and draw it.
the above smiles and this truck are maximum's.
and i love his statement 'every day i have to do smiles'

z art
not wanting to be outdone by his brother, z has joined in with presenting drawings to me so i can scan them in and put them on my compu'er.
(he'll have his own section in the gallery soon too).
unfortunately, z preferences walls to paper...or tables or carpet: he won't be restricted to traditional media.
i'm sure every parent thinks their spawn are arty geniuses...
i'm not saying anything: i just like looking at their art...seems better than mine ever was.
they're so prolific now if i dont' scan it and file it, it'll get lost: not enough walls to hang it all.
for that matter, this house has much less wall space than the old perou factory and we have TONS of framed prints that i will need to auction off at some point.
took maximum to school this morning looking like a farmer wanna-be crossed with a skate punk thing.
i got looks...as usual.
i look at the parents of maximum's school friends with a similar horror to that which they throw out at me.
mouths are open.
i went to see the local swimming pool today to see where maximum actually was on the waiting list.
(apparently if you don't make a fuss the pool staff bump people down the list in favour of their friend's children).
two lifeguards were clearly sniggering at my attire.
i sniggered back at their lives...
and there was calm in the office before the storm that's shaping up as feb 07

god (by maximum)
btw. this is god.
he lives in a box in the sky.
apologies to anyone who's confused by the lack of my photos in this diary.
i'd MUCH rather just post my kid's drawings.
the only reason i shoot stills is because i'm not clever enough to draw or paint.
i am always in awe of 'real' artists...
