all you can do is sue

all you can do is sue

i'm sick of people who can't do their ****ing jobs right.

hours and hours of my life are accumulatively being wasted talking to complete muppets who shouldn't be allowed jobs for the damage it's doing our economy.
how much effort have i invested (and wasted) in getting the dumbass from citilink to (not) deliver a package to our address.
for the last four days now, i have been told everyday that we've been carded because there was no-one in.
there's always been at least 3 people here during that time.
and i've never been carded.
finally, yesterday the manager who did not previously call back as promised, admitted that the driver had been past but thought no-one was in because the gates were shut.
of course they're shut: that's what gates are for.
RING THE ****ING INTERCOM DIPSTICK.
today, after being told he would definitely deliver...and then having him NOT deliver (unsurprisingly) i phoned, spent 15 minutes on hold and then was finally told 'sorry the driver's had an accident and he won't be delivering today'.
"BOLLOCKS' i said
'i'm sorry sir, he's actually in hospital'
'BOLLOCKS is he'
'i can put you through to the hospital if you like and you can ask them'
'go on then'
'well, obviously i can't ACTUALLY put you through, but he is in hospital'
'BOLLOCKS: this is a ****ing disgrace: your company shouldn't be allowed to ****ing trade. forget it: i'll cancel my order with the company i bought the item from and you can all **** off.'

i'm not in a good mood.

mrs.perou just told me maximum's dropped a toy tractor down the toilet and it's gone round the u bend: 'too bad'

and bathstore, for the third time this week have NOT collected (as scheduled) the two baths that we're sending back because they're not what we ordered.

on monday john lewis is collecting the bed we had delivered and spent hours assembling because they sent us 'the wrong one'.
we have to unassemble and pack the wrong bed before we receive the right one and assemble that.

HOW DOES ANYTHING GET DONE IN THIS COUNTRY?
think about how advanced we'd be if people just did their jobs properly or engaged their brains a little?

i had to call canterbury council for the fourth time in five months today because the road sign to our hamlet was knocked down the week after we moved in and has STILL not been replaced.
each time i call, they have no record of my previous calls and we have to start from scratch again.

AAAAAAaaaaaargh.

this should be a day of celebration: me and mrs.perou have got a babysitter coming to look after the kiddas while we head out to the cinema together, for the first time since we've been here (since aug 16th).

instead, the real kick (in the face) today is that the £16,000 we spent on the well could be a complete waste as there are so many nitrates and other chemicals in the water, that we wouldn't even be advised to fill the swimming pool with it.

i feel sick.

contrary to popular belief, i am not rich and a waste of £16,000 hurts me REAL bad.
the only thing i can do is sue.

even mowing the grass along the side of the field at sunset hasn't lifted my mood.
i'd like to think that tomorrow will be better.
but unless someone fires most of the current british labour force, i doubt it will.
