sick puppy
up in darkness to welcome the early arrival of the crew for the KT Tunstall shoot...and the lovely KT herself.
of course, as i was planning on shooting outside, today would have to be the only wet, sunless day of the week.
this is a rule: a (holymoly)truefact.
if you ever want to plan a picnic and need to know if it'll be a nice day, call us to find out if we're going to be shooting first.
if we are, it will not.
KT had a great idea for a shot which i will be pleased to post here in the future.
had a happy shoot despite feeling nauseous and like i was going to faint all day.
mrs.perou, frances and her sister, catherine left for paris in the morning, leaving me shooting and maximum and z with my mum and dad at the factory.
as soon as the shoot finished at 2pm, i rushed over to waterloo and jumped the eurostar to 'gare du nord'.
necked some cuprofen and wrapped up warm, aching and shaking like crazy.
perfect timimg: i've been looking forward to the launch of the show in paris for a long time.
was met at the station by olivier (who has a masters in japanese) in a blacked out merc limo and he who drove me through rainy parisian streets to rendezvous with my lover and assistant and sister of my assistant.
olivier stays with us as our driver for the whole night: i do like this mode of un-public transport.
after a short while at the exhibition and a single glass of champagne, had to rush out and dramatically redecorate the the pavement whilst mrs.perou held my bowler hat and sunglasses and tried to keep me from getting too wet in the rain.
very rock and roll (not).
managed to return and hold it together.
most amusing moment of the night was hearing that people were mistaking frances for my sister (not assistant) and that frances was this girl, greta.
frances was apparently flattered.
olivier drove us to 'cab' for the after-party of the show.
i ate a piece of bread and drank a sprite.
frances and catherine accused me of being 'no fun' and demanded my swift return to full health.
didn't last much longer at the party.
left at midnight.
quite a few 5x4ft prints sold and some 20x16's.
passed out clothed at the hotel and mrs.perou put me to bed.
miserable night: i hate being ill: it's so inconvienient.
i'm forcing a smile but i isn't happy.
