5 aside football anyone?
i was up at 3,4,5,6 and 7am before a little nap at 8am which caused me to miss breakfast and wake up deleriously tired 10 minutes before needing to be out, location hunting.
in the short sleep i did get, i was having strange dreams loosely based around the 'fashion massages' you can get at 'strawberry jam': a 'sweet' venue haruo pointed out to me last night that doesn't welcome foreigners and charges by the half hour...
had a nightmare securing models for the shoot today.
japanese agencies expect 4x the usual amount for models to shoot editorial and if a better paying job comes in, they cancel your option without warning.
tomorrow's fashion shoot (unlike a fashion massage) is a bit of an epic for us:
hopefully we should have 23 japanese girl 'extras', 3 western male models and 2 japanese girl models, a limo and 6 different locations.
after a full day of location, location, location (and fighting the desperate urge to be asleep when i should be awake) had a final model casting at our hotel.
secured the guys and girls we needed.
nanaco came and met us and we (me, nanaco, frances, tom, olie and yasuhiro) went for a korean barbeque: my first in 5 years.
stuffed, back to the hotel to try and get some sleep before a long day tomorrow.
called home on my new badass japanese pay-as-you-go (£15) phone and spoke to my lover who is 9hrs behind me.
maximum tried to get out of school today, he said he couldn't go because he had hiccups.
thought about relocating to japan and schooling the boys at an international school here...then thought again.
